Its so weird that P-Day is here again already. Time is going pretty quickly, and because the last one was on wednesday, haha. Anyway.

Yeah the temple was pretty cool, very tiny. Probably the same size as the Raleigh, NC one, but it was still pretty cool. There were too many elders there so some people had to sit on the girls side ha. My favorite so far would still have to be Manti and we'll get to go every other transfer, so every three months. Up north we will go to Reno and down south at the Las vegas temple. Yeah I would love to do some family names, just send them my way.

I guess I like the area, I mean I don't really have anything to compare it to yet but the people are nice and I haven't tracted into any really mean people yet. We are still just trying to get everything started back up and finding people to teach. One of the wards is really fired up and more willing to work with us and the other isn't as missionary minded.

I'm not really in the city of Reno, I guess you could call it the outskirts. Its North Reno in a place called Stead...for the most part. Our area is kind of big. The two wards are about 150-200 people each, but with like 600 on the rolls, so that has been our main task. Getting people back to church and teaching the part-member families.

Elder Smith is from Nebraska. Our mission is pretty lucky cause there are like no people from Utah since it is so close. Not that Utah is bad or anything...:) Our teaching went a lot better and I am starting to get more comfortable with it. The one thing I hate is that when people ask questions I kind of fumble and don't answer them too well but then later when I think about them I come up with the perfect answer, but it is too late. Oh well. Hindsight is 20-20.

I know I am going to gain weight. I am trying not to and I have been faithful working out every morning, but we have a dinner appointment every night. And here comes the holidays so that won't help. The thanksgiving potlucks have already begun and since we have two wards to cover we have to go to them both! haha

Oh and as far as packages they do something different for the holiday season. They just want you to send it straight to us so they don't get a flood of them Christmas time. I am forwarding an email to you about it, but my "home" address is:

Silver Lake Apt.
7350 Silver Lake Road Apt. 17D
Reno, NV 89506
But thanks ahead of time for the package!

Well everything is getting better the longer I am here. Like I said one of the wards is really fired up and ready, so once we start getting names from them we will be teaching more lessons. We have already had one little cool miracle involving an inactive praying for a sign and us showing up on his doorstep a few days later. Pretty crazy!

I hope you guys have a good week and that all is well in green Virginia. I am starting to get used to the brown. It is kind of nice...in a weird way. Well at least the mountains are pretty and they are starting to get snow covered. Love ya a ton and I miss you. (I have already been out a month!? crazy.) Thanks for getting my address out there. I actually got a letter this week!! :)
